• Okay, so I made up a word here. But, as you know if you've read this, it's fitting. I can't believe I hadn't heard of this as a child, but I'm perfectly okay with reading it as an adult. In fact, every adult should read this. Summer reading, anyone?

Possession by A.S. Byatt...Transporting

• Full disclosure: I saw the movie with Gwyneth Paltrow and Aaron Eckhart first. Films bring to life what you imagine when you read. But, the amazing thing about the book is that it's just as vivid as the movie. Think writing a book is hard? This is essentially a book within a book. And it works like a charm.
